Canadian consumers’ financial situations continue to improve as the economy recovers, indicating — barring a sudden reversal — the worst may be over in terms of those affected.
The latest wave of our survey reveals 53% of Canadians report their household is still negatively impacted by COVID-19, marking the lowest number since the survey began, down 16% from April’s high of 62%.
Another positive indicator is of those who said they’re not currently impacted, only 12% think they may be in the future, also the lowest number since our surveys began.
