TransUnion and other credit bureaus store and maintain information on consumer credit and payment habits, inquiries and public records. Businesses that are members of TransUnion are able to obtain a copy of this information, if they have a legal permissible purpose or your consent, as applicable. By continuously updating credit information, TransUnion enables credit grantors to make fast and informed, reliable and objective decisions. This makes it possible for them to approve loans and give credit to you within minutes.
We offer two different types of credit reports to consumers:

An easy-to-read version of similar information about your credit history that would be supplied to a creditor. With your credit profile, you have the option to add your credit score, debt analysis and alerts to monitor critical changes.
A complete account of all the information on your credit report. This version is only available to you and it contains additional data that are not provided in a Credit Profile.
